Fund Raising Projects.
Paddock Wood Carnival
Paddock Wood Lions have been organising the annual
Carnival for over 20 Years.

Duck Race
We organise an annual Duck Race. Members give their
time selling around 1200 numbered plastic ducks, which
are then floated down a local stream on race day.
Catching them all again afterwards is the fun
part.
Charities such as Hospice in the
Weald and Kent Air
Ambulance have benefited from this in recent
years.
Hunt the Swag
A new project in recent years, this has proved to be
succesful and popular. This consists of a map of the
town divided into around 1300 squares or plots one of
which is where the "Swag" is hidden.
Again local Charities benefit from the proceeds of this
event.

Members take Santa around the Town and surrounding
villages in the weeks proceeding Christmas each year,
making collections which are used for various welfare
needs.
This Fundraising event would be impossible without the assistance of Paddock Wood Lioness Club who's members assist with the collections, the proceeds being split between the 2 clubs for their
own projects.
Easter Egg Draws
Draws for luxury Easter Eggs are organised at various venues.
Paddock Wood Lions are also out fundraising at various other Lions Clubs
Fetes and Carnivals throughout the summer months.
